Rosemary Warren is an established professional artist who paints exact, keenly observed watercolours and acrylics, with a strong emphasis on design and composition. Her work is mainly influenced by her immediate environment, which is near the sea, between the Cooley and Mourne Mountains.

Rosemary’s work has been exhibited on many occasions at the Royal Hibernian Academy, Iontas, the Solomon Gallery Dublin and the Kenny Gallery, Galway. She has also exhibited widely throughout the country. Commissions include a 42 ft mural for the Council Chambers, Louth County Council.

She is a member of the North Louth artists, a group of professional artists who collectively exhibit annually. Rosemary currently lectures in visual arts education at St. Patrick’s College, Drumcondra.

A solo exhibition of new work was held in December in the Basement Gallery, Town Hall Dundalk. The exhibition was presented by the Arts Office of Dundalk Town Council, and was opened by, Dermot Ahern,T.D. The exhibition was a great success and all of the thirty paintings on exhibit were sold on the opening night.
